Mr. Villaneda’s legal career began at a plaintiff-side law firm where he helped prosecute many high-profile lawsuits. Over the course of his career, Mr. Villaneda learned how to prosecute a case from ‘day one.’ Executing effective trial strategies, Mr. Villaneda has recovered multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of his clients. In 2015, Mr. Villaneda argued a federal appeal before the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals before a veteran panel of judges – some of which who also adjudicated President Donald J. Trump’s Muslim ‘Travel Ban.’ In that same year, Mr. Villaneda also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Steven J. Kleifield in the Los Angeles Superior Court – Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
Mr. Villaneda earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is admitted to practice in California state courts and the Central District of California. In 2020, Mr. Villaneda was selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of California’s ‘Top 40 Under 40.’ This professional organization composed of the top trial lawyers from each state who are under the age of 40.
